QUIRI hydraulic pools are made up from standard immersed motor-pump units. There is no restriction in terms of numbers or volume. This means that pools constructed are modular and can be expanded whilst they benefit from the numerous advantages provided by the use of QUIRI immersed hydraulic power units :

- Innovative
- Compact
- Reliable
- Silent
- Economic
- Standardised

COMBINED STANDARD UNIT POOLS

The principle involves connecting reservoirs together using a balance pipe (with isolating valves), thus combining the developed pressures through valves at a manifold and sending the return flows back to the reservoirs through a flow distributor. This completely modular construction can be expanded, and units in the network can be isolated for intervention and maintenance without having to shut down the whole pool.

COMMON RESERVOIR POOLS

A large capacity common reservoir designed to hold the various power generators selected accommodates the base plates of standard motor-pump units side-by-side.

This retains all the innovative features of immersed power units ; only the maximum number of units to be fitted needs to be determined beforehand.

COMMAND AND CONTROL OF POOLS

There are various solutions available, from manual to fully-automated control :

- Sequential start-up of motor-pump units
- Automatic engagement of motor-pump units
- Meeting MTBF criteria
- Harmonisation of motor operating times
- Control relocated to a console, cabinet, a programmable
  automatic control system or supervisor.
