Gas springs are standard parts used in stamping dies. They are composed of a body filled with nitrogen and a core plunger which reduces the inner volume under the pressure of the die. This system uses the compressibility of the gas to maintain a constant pressure on the stamped part.
With over 30 years of experience in the manufacture of gas springs, Quiri offers a full range of certified PED 2014/68/EU gas struts. Our gas shocks are renowned worldwide for their long lifetime and their one-piece conception which guarantees higher safety during use.
A nitrogen load balancer uses the compressibility of the gas to compensate the load of a mobile element.
